SPORT CENTER ACCESS CARDSThe Eagle Crest Sport Centers introduced a new access system in November 2022. All homeowners were asked to apply for the new access cards and unaccompanied guest passes. As of March 1, 2023, the old owner card system was discontinued.
If you haven't already received a Sports Center access card, we urge you to complete the access card application as soon as possible. Owners may fill out the application at either the Ridge or Resort Sport Centers. Photo identification will be required and you must be the actual titled owner to apply for the access cards. A photo of owner is required to be taken before access cards will be distributed. Owners should not plan on getting the cards on the day they apply, as card processing may take up to 7 days.
Owners needing Unaccompanied Guest Passes must complete the application process. No unaccompanied guest access will be given without completing the new sport center access system.
Please Note: Association regulations will apply to number of cards issued per property. Multiple ownership properties will need to predetermine designated card holders. Properties used as vacation rentals will need to register with the Eagle Crest Express Pass Program.

SPORT CENTER ACCESS POLICIES
As part of the Sport Centers’ three-year Joint Use Easement Agreement that took effect January 1, 2019, a clause in the contract stipulated that Sport Centers Access Policies were to be reviewed. The intent of this clause was to ensure access policies were fair and equitable to the entire homeowner community, resort visitors and guests. Additionally, to review and revise the policies to eliminate abuse and/or excessive use by non-owner guests.
As identified in the contract, a Joint Use System Evaluation Committee (JUSE) was formed to review and revise the access policies. The committee was comprised of 2 members from RECOA, 2 members from ECMA and 2 members from ECAG (the Resort ownership group). The committee met extensively in 2019 and with limited meetings in 2020 to discuss and develop access policies to achieve an equitable balance of Sports Center access. Status reports and recommendations were shared with the RECOA and ECMA Boards of Directors in February 2020. Subsequently, a list of final revised guidelines were submitted to the RECOA Board of Directors and submitted, reviewed and approved by the ECMA Board of Directors in late February 2021.
The new policies went into effect March 15, 2021 (with a revision to the Resort Sports Center Access Policies taking place March 2024). Based upon the implementation of the new access policies, the contractual requirement of the Joint Use Easement Agreement was satisfied.
